Heritage Horizons is an initiative founded by a group of dedicated fellows from the international non-profit organization "Humanity In Action." Our fellowship, based in Sarajevo, focused on the post-conflict reconstruction process, and this project emerged from our time and experiences during the program. Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian diaspora. We are creating a digital "memory" map that brings together stories, artifacts, and cultural treasures from diaspora communities around the world. Through multimedia elements like handwritten letters, photographs, traditional recipes, poetry, and personal memorabilia, we aim to capture and share the essence of our shared heritage. By highlighting these personal narratives, we strive to connect the past with the present and ensure that our cultural legacy is honored and remembered for generations to come.
